Taylor (and anyone following), Omidyar Group gave $45 million dollars to the 1630 fund in 2020.

At minimum, you’re claiming that the 1630 fund is making creators walk the party line, but that the Omidyar group, who funds your fellowship, doesn’t also make you walk a line.

Can you explain this?

Calling the money that these creators receive “dark money” is an inherently moral judgement.

I’m sorry you think someone defending liberal content creators from a smear campaign is gross. You’re free to click off.

Yeah, except that didn’t happen with Chorus.

Most of the content creators listed talked about Palestine, though. So it looks like you’ve managers to prove my point. Thanks.

I’m allowed to criticize the motives of the author by pointing out that her assertion that these creators are immoral isn’t consistent with her view of another creator.

I also find it questionable that you don’t find as hypocritical a certain left-leaning content creator—that you’ve shown affection for—taking millions from Bezos, a Trump inauguration attendee. Is his content being paid for?

Taylor, I don’t doubt the reporting. What I very much have a problem with is your insinuation that the content creators were having their content paid for by the DNC or that they weren’t allowed to talk about Gaza, both of which you haven’t been as active in denying.

Hi Professor, I ask in good faith why you have this policy? I’m not certain why it would be in place, generally.
