Shortly before 6 p.m. today, Surrey Police responded to a call from a woman saying that she and her husband had been shot near 12600-block of 67B Avenue.

Fortunately, a young child in their car nearby was unharmed. Both victims have been taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Anmol Bishnoi is currently listed as a detainee by US Immigration & Customs Enforcement at the Pottawattamie County Jail.

Anmol is the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, who has been accused by Canada of being used by the Indian government for transnational repression activities.
