Janelle Alder, AS-RN, whom I precepted her last day in clinical before graduation 2021. Joyfully went as a volunteer nurse in PAMAS, a medical mission service in the Phillipines, only to be lost at sea when the 60-yr old Yellow Bee copter went down 30 miles from shore. My memory of her haunts me.

In mourning in the old Irish way for a good friend and colleague, Anne Heuser, RN, late of Harlem Hospital and Nassau University Medical Center. Nagged my butt off to lose 50 pounds and saved my health. Wish I could have done the same. She had a safe haven here for her last year.
