My mom’s little dog, Gracie, passed recently, so she decided it was time for a rescue dog companion. This girl dog took right to her and will be living the good life from here on out. I think they both are getting rescued ❤️.

Spent some time today targeting smallmouth in Canadian waters on Erie. Also nice being in a country that respects the rule of law.

Pretty sure this is an Eastern Box Turtle, although it’s markings are dark and unique. It’s also bigger than I’ve seen. It was outside the fence but oddly enough his carapace had what looked to be a muddy dog print 🙄. I didn’t disturb it and let it be. I’ll check tomorrow to be sure it’s moved on

RIP my beautiful Sookie. Fifteen and a half but it’s never enough. I loved her so much. Very special girl, smart, frisbee athlete, spoiled snuggler, and oh so beautiful. She went peacefully being told how much she was loved.

This is my Sookie. She’s 15.5 yo. She’s in her final days. It’s the hardest part. She was a spectacular frisbee catcher and could run like a greyhound. And oh so beautiful. Smart, spoiled, she was an terrible puppy. Gonna miss her.
