Why complain about Amy? She is a workhorse. Corporate? Yes. Moderate? Yes. Sane? Definitely. Amy is strong and stands up for people and can win. I don't expect my politicians to be Jesus. I think she is about as awesome as you can get for a Senator, Governor, or President.

Election makes it more difficult to collude because the large number of voters cannot as easily be coordinated. Trump is colluding with Congress. If he appointed congress, the corruption would be worse. No governance system is perfect, some governance systems are just not as bad as others.
