I seriously love how the low cost per mile combined with decent conditions to walk and bike around makes it really easy to walk and bike around in my free time in addition to commuting places. Frequent transit with an unlimited pass felt similar when I used to have an unlimited pass.

Do they at least charge for employee parking? I suspect it's too cheap for employees when I go by the hospital on Riverside. Almost every time there's a lot of overly aggressive driving and almost all drivers in scrubs flying off the freeway. It was so nice when the 94 ramps were closed.

I'm happy that the lights were fixed on the St Paul half of the Lake St-Marshall Ave Bridge over the weekend and most of the lights south of Franklin on the river parkways work again.

And the detour mentioned on the Franklin signs (24th St bridge over Hiawatha) is sometimes only barely passable because of course it is. Strong Mayor's admin seems to still pit everyone outside of a car against each other for the limited remaining space.

Yesterday I took my longest ride on Jefferson Lines so far, Mpls➡️Rapid City. I did the same trip on Delta Air a couple months ago and I think the bus is better when slower travel is okay. 1/

I am so happy for being able to choose the mode of transportation that works best for what I am doing. Sadly sometimes that is a car but it feels good to check it back at the rental place and continue on my way with the folding bike. 1/2

Day 30 of #30daysofbiking. It felt nice to be able to atop and admire the tulips. I passed some cars 3 times within a mile (1.75 km).

Day 29 of #30daysofbiking had my first Tuesday band rehearsal of the season. I really like what St. Paul did with the path along Como Ave between the park and Raymond Ave and I wish more of this infrastructure that makes it safer to bike was installed on all arterials.

It's extra scary when car users get pissy that I am taking the lane through this section of 3rd Ave in Mpls where the bike lane is blocked in multiple spots and just dissapears for a bit. Dude you had to swerve around the same truck and car I did and you're taking it out on me for some reason?

D14 #30DaysOfBiking saw traffic has somewhat evaporated on 6th and 7th St and Riverside compared to normal with the I-94 ramp closures. Very gusty winds in Minneapolis and St Paul

Day 13 of #30daysofbiking involved trip chaining while carrying the euphonium. The concert went well and it felt nice to pick up a couple of burritos to go on the way home.
