Bummer. Did you have any obstructions in your northern field of view or was there some other problem?

I have Starlink in rural CO and it’s amazing if you have an unobstructed north facing view.

This is great advice. I also have found a strange aversion amongst many developers to spending time in a stepping debugger (or *gasp* printf debugging) really understanding the flow of a system. It can really help reconcile truth from misconception.

It’s really what makes e-mail unique as a fully federated, fully open ecosystem with ubiquitous deployment. Sadly, it may be impossible to replicate that again, as it makes platform lock-in so hard.

And some companies also block the use of the types of instruments that are ideally used for this (ones that effectively collateralize the underlying asset).

It’s a solid proactive block.
