Apparently, part of the protesters rally towards Heroes' Square, one of the major junctions in Tbilisi. Paralyzing the square proved to be very effective during the spring protests

The police have started to use laser pointers too. With one major difference - *that* is a pointer that can lit a fire. Protesters don't have anything remotely powerful close to that. It may cause permanent blindness
