ngl, I need these two on this type of timing

I thought back on this post cause I feel like there's definitely more to back this up on it being essentially the culmination of Anno's career, he has wanted to do Kamen Rider since his Daicon Films day. You can kinda see elements of what would be in the Shin designs in these designs here.

I wonder what there bond would've been like in the scenario they actually met.

Pretty much convinced this would've been the Godzilla design used for the scenario that some sort of anime or OVA got produced in like the 80s. There's also Shinji Nishikawa's/MASH's Godzilla Legend doujinshi too which had MsouGoji. He was the Godzilla of the 80s.

He kinda looks more like the earlier rendition of the Winchester bot from 1977 when drawn like this, I think it's actually pretty cool ngl.

Hey random thing, check out my DC designs. I do plan on doing more of em eventually (Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, etc) but for now these are good. Basic plan is adapting Golden Age DC with my own few twists.
