Y'all check out this picture book by Ryan Allen (preschool therapist) and illustrated by Zoe Persico: Friends Are Not For Biting. It's really well drawn (lions!) and talks about how to teach children to communicate with others not by berating them but by addressing the root communication issues.

Finished "Hello Sunshine" by @keezyyoung.bsky.social and the book is so far the best representation of mental health in a book. The elements perception and empathy are very well explored.

While some of Qi Baishi's art may be public domain, the stock photo still requires attribution (it's not CC0). Even more frustrating is that the artist has better pieces, just look online for Qi Baishi's work. I've provided some photos from the exhibit below (I don't recall the exact descriptions).

but it still feels like a slap in the face. Aside from some video pieces that use AI, they had these envelopes that visitors could take as part of the piece "Letters from Qi" and the inserts were noted as "AI Painted." This appears to be trying to copy an photo shown in image 3.

As someone still recovering from a hand injury and unable to create art as I would like to, I wish I had heard this more from the people around me growing up. Anyways, I'm glad to see the community of artists here doing what they like to do. Support them if you can.
