Well, watching 3 baseball games at the same time is quite fun! Got the Nats on broadcast tv but alternating with the Yankees for my wife. Third is our local summer college baseball team, the Tbolts, with their game on YouTube.

@montgomerycountymd.bsky.social the Spring Street protected bikelane has been taken over by parked cars on the section heading toward Georgia Avenue. Just tried to use today to bike to @fenwickbw The other side is fine. Please fix. @evanglass.bsky.social @cmkatestewart.bsky.social

Love the spring time here in Metro DC! This is our old camellia bush starting to come out, and fringed by the bright yellow forsythia that are blooming beautifully this year.

While the latter are far more sophisticated tools with much more capability, in our user group we talked about these being "amazing" and "creepy" at the same time. Using Apple's image playground app, which renders in animation or illustration style, was just fun, with no creepyness.

Missed you Rob - but it was a lively session about image playground on newer iPhones. Here's the image I made, thinking of the plumped up carolina wren we've seen at our suet feeder.

This morning I chopped onions, mushrooms, etc. to make wild mushroom soup, a great preamble f prime ribs tomorrow.
