If that wasn't bad enough, I may have slit my own throat yesterday. I made a response video to this nonsense, and now it's like I've been blacklisted. Two streams tonight with no one showing up. I hate to say it, but I think YouTube may have killed my channel.

It's absolutely atrocious. I made Partner the same week the "restrictions" went in place, and I honestly thought I was back at square one... which I kind of am now. My streams went from 20-40 viewers avg to single digits. I don't think it's just restricting vids, it's probably suppressing them too.

I can't tell you how effing happy this makes me. Parody stuff is one thing, but these channels are pure, unadulterated deception! Turn them all to toast I say!

I've only had my story brewing for about 4 years, but I feel you. I've had to use a wiki software to dump my lore, and it gets tedious trying to put in small doses of lore. Where it's a blessing, is in all the ways I can Chekhov's Gun the eff out of it.

Currently juggling an epic fantasy while trying to stay relevant as a YT content creator. The novel is about two office workers that get sucked into an alternate world where the entire male population has been obliterated by the dark lord's magic, and the mystery of how and why they are there.

I bet he also puts on his pants, drinks from a glass, and even... dare I say it, listens to music.

No one really wants Batman to pick up a gun and blast the Joker. They really don't want him to break his "one rule." They want to see how he handles that pressure, how he overcomes adversity, despite that line being poked and prodded.

A true hero always has a line in the sand, a line they won't cross. The villain does not. The hero, however good they are, is the result of the pressure from the villain. If the good guy is boring, it's not because they're too good... it's because the pressure to cross that line is too weak.
