Okami is one of those games that keeps tricking you to be invested, until you’ve reached the end and you’re a puddle of tears. That narrative is unreal, and none of my local friends have played it 😂

It’s ridiculous, but the end of speed racer gets me emotional. As the track around speed devolves into light and colour and we get to see his world and we know his victory is near - gah - just does something to my feelings. What a great choice for a new years movie. 🍿

The colour scheme is sick - one you start to fill in smaller details it’ll stitch it together. It’s just in that phase where you sometimes have to put it down and let it rest for a day so you can see it with fresh eyes

My wife grabbed me the mini from Etsy along with some others for Christmas. I saw far to many hands and was instantly sold 😂

But also, the wet palette makes mixing low/medium/ high tones for contrasts almost effortless and the paint stays ready for ages, letting me jump back to areas I inevitably get paint on a section I’ve already done 😂 honestly I thought it was BS till I got one! (2/2)

Absolutely! I only do one mini at a time too 😂! First, there’s a bit of an indescribable control I get from the wet palette. I can control the pigment level and the flow with WAY less of the a fight which makes the experience much calmer. (1/2)
