Even if the courts stop him…which is a long shot…he could do tremendous harm. Plus, all those people’s personal information is now in his unelected and unaccountable hands.

It’ll be heartbreaking, yes. But it’ll also separate the wheat from the chaff. Let’s just hope that the rebuilders don’t make the mistake of remembering our time as some sort of a golden age to emulate.

Russian mind tinkerers are the best in the world. They’ve had over 100 years to perfect their craft. Putin knew he’d need around 20 years to see the results he wanted. His patience paid off.
