It's embarrassing, sure, but it was absolutely the right thing for her to hand over the Nobel Peace Prize. Who gives a shit? She's not actually bestowing any kind of honor to the big dummy - it's a trinket. And if patting him on the head makes it more likely she can RUN A COUNTRY, you do that.

The NY Giants being absolutely pointless to the playoff picture all year only to win back to back meaningless games to finish the season, thus messing with their draft positioning, is so perfectly on brand for this franchise in the last decade - it's crazy making.

Been trying to figure out all day why Buffalo, with all the momentum and Philly unable to do anything offensively, went for 2 at the end. I've now settled on not trusting the kicker to make a FG in those conditions in OT, but otherwise I don't get it. And yeah I know Allen makes that throw 90%+

I'm as furious as I've ever been about politics right now with the Dems pointlessly caving on the shutdown but I honestly think we should stop with the Fetterman outrage. We know who he is and we need him out of office but acting shocked that he does anything other than vote red is a waste of energy

I'm not trying to whitewash his legacy because he died but I think Cheney was the kind of villain you want in this world. A net negative but someone who really thought he was doing the right thing, and therefore accidentally did the right thing occasionally. He wasn't trying to take over the world
