Last week @therestpolitics.bsky.social discussed *their* GE hobson's choice of Reform/Jeremy Cobyn's new party without even mentioning the LibDems. A few days later 'why do LibDems fly under the radar'. Well, Doh @alastaircampbell2.bsky.social and @rory-stewart.bsky.social, why do you think?

Just listened to your QT Farage v Corbyn session decrying the need for a centrist party and not one bloody mention of the LibDems?? So bad.

It's a little icky the UK government making these gestures of kindness to a handful of young Gazans after almost two years of supporting the obliteration of their homeland.

You complete twat. Contrary to your default position, this conversation has nothing to do with party politics and who one does or does not vote for.
August 19, 2025 at 10:25 AM
Well it's clear you don't.
August 19, 2025 at 6:21 AM
Who said anything about depend upon? There's a very clear moral judgement needed and that is that UK wants no involvement in killing Gazan citizens. You need to get over your fixation with Corbyn and think about actual people being killed in Gaza.

Stop being such a dick. No-one is suggesting Starmer commands the IDF, rather that he could stop UK sending *any* weapons to Israel and implement economic/diplomatic sanctions against Israel. This would reflect general public opinion.
August 18, 2025 at 1:14 PM
Time for you to stop pretending you don't know about sanctions like the current ones against Russia for instance.
August 18, 2025 at 5:26 AM
And you need to stop being so patronising.
August 18, 2025 at 5:24 AM
Lack of sanctions. The continued supply of components for F25 jets.
August 18, 2025 at 5:18 AM
Who are the real cranks who don't care about the people of Gaza?
August 18, 2025 at 5:14 AM
You're wrong. Labour should be absolutely ashamed of its continued support for Israel.
August 18, 2025 at 5:13 AM
Government over reach without a doubt.
August 10, 2025 at 8:37 AM
You're all heart.

After nearly two years of supplying fighter jet components to Israel and supporting Israel's genocidal actions resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of Gazan children the UK is now evacuating a handful of injured children.
August 4, 2025 at 8:50 PM
They didn't even have the nouse to do so quickly and thanks to them I now live in a county run by Reform.

Labour are way too authoritarian and are criminally weak on Gaza. They have zero political acumen and, lo, left leaning MPs are forced to form a new political party. What happened to the days when the party was vibrant and broadchurch and accommodated the likes of Denis Skinner and Robin Cook?
July 30, 2025 at 6:31 PM
Sorry if it's complicated.
July 30, 2025 at 12:06 PM
And Labour as a whole got in on what share of the personal vote?
July 30, 2025 at 7:17 AM
For goodness sake don't be so ridiculous. She and everyone else have been pushed beyond belief: lack of action on Gaza bordering on support of a genocide, restrictiions on our rights to protest, winter fuel allowance, cuts to disability payments.
July 30, 2025 at 6:41 AM
But you trust Keir Starmer? Incredible.
