It may lead to better quality Netflix movies and shows if they keep HBO and WB’s execs, studio and creatives in tact. Also gives them better IP.
As far as theatrical is concerned, I dunno. The guilds will have to put up a united front with the theaters to maybe gain leverage.

Hard disagree. May be the first Batman villain on film with zero charisma. I know they were trying to do Spacey’s John Doe in Se7en as written but that worked because of charisma.l and Dani is depleted of it. It’s why he works in Prisoners.

I’ve always agreed with Tarantino on Dano nearly ruining TWBB. He was miscast, not entirely his fault. DDL prepared for like 7 years and Dano got less than a week. The twin thing didn’t work.
I love Dano in Fablemans and Prisoners but also thought he was miscast in The Batman.
