So the company the council has approved of to do the roof repairs are very busy at the moment but they did visit on Friday and did what they call a 'bodge' on the roof until they get around to the main fix . It rained a lot over the weekend and no rain came in so I'm a happy bunny 😊

Roofers came around today and did a bodged temporary job to seal my roof leak until they can get the time to do the job properly. As long as there is no rain coming in I don't care 😊

My diagnosis was wrong . It was definitely chilblains
I have a new illness 🤣

Adds Erythromelalgia to the list ✅

It's fairly rare, this one .

I emailed the council in a feigned panic to try to get their clerk of works to come and assess the roof damage and it actually worked . 1 hour later he was at my front door and incredibly apologetic and helpful . Things are moving forward 😀

I'm ready for the next load of rain 😊

So much rain coming in through my bedroom ceiling. I'm going to phone the council tomorrow and start shouting at them . ☹️

OK Bluesky.
I'm at Reading Comicon tomorrow but before I go I have loaded up the website with my lovely sparkly suncatchers!
Excuse my terrible photos but honestly, these are way better presents than a silly candle, all original one off & handmade by me!

To add to my health issues I seem to be suffering from chilblains which are causing my toes a great deal of discomfort.

The council are going to contribute to my roof repairs which is a relief 😊 . Unfortunately getting them involved does slow up the whole process.

It's that time of year again in Scotland.
I'm now wearing thermals until March 😊

Fixing a hole in your roof really does become a problem when you share the roof with three other houses but you're the only one getting rained/ snowed on.

I was hoping for snow today . Much nicer than rain coming through the bedroom ceiling

The hole in the roof has caused me a few issues in the bedroom .

The ceiling fell in earlier this evening. I should have got the roof repaired when I first noticed the leak. oops 😭

Trying to sort out some NI back payments from when I was living in The Netherlands so I will be entitled to a full state pension (if I last that long). It's all very confusing for someone with no paperwork skills .

Oh dear . A neighbour knocked on my door yesterday to inform me that a convicted paedophile had moved into a house a couple of doors away from me and directly below her . She ain't happy about it . It seems he has done a council house swap with the old lady who used to live there .

Asked my GP if I could see a hand specialist about my Dupuytren's Contracture . I am on the waiting list . I've been told the average waiting time for non emergency issues is 62 weeks 😭

I don't think my father ever really got on with his father .His father was a seaman .He was never at home. By the time he was at home my father had already left home. My dad never really spoke much about him .In my eyes my Grandad is a fucking legend and I wish I could talk to him about his life.
