Bosses aren't the issue for me, I may die once or twice because I haven't seen all they do, but the getting swarmed by enemies can really do me in.

I do love that it makes it less of a mindless walk a-to-b kind of experience and you do have to mind your step a bit

Ngl, anything that has a city 'builder' in it, gets me hooked 😅

I hope they'll move this to PoE2 down the line as well, or something similar at least.

I know! I've been playing the Settlers league a bit, and it was definitely growing on me. Just the looming release of PoE2 (Early access or not) was holding me a bit back to fully commit to it.

I did get some of the important stash tabs at that time, and will wait for a sale for the next 600 points

They really do, and both playstyles look like something that I'd resonate with.

I guess in the end, I'd just try both and just have fun with the ascendancy :D
