You're right, I think the petition is still well worth supporting. It would certainly be harder to make the content illegal. I suppose I'm feeling disillusioned and fatigued by these repetative attacks on a safe space for my queer kids. It's starting to feel like the right will always win.

Payment processors shouldn't be able to pull services based on content that they disagree with unless they can demonstrate that the content in question is harmful or dangerous. I don't know that using the word 'legal' is the right move here.

I worry though, because if I was the payment processor in this scenario I would just switch to making that content illegal and we've seen that private companies can have a lot of sway over legislation passed in all of the countries currently facing this issue.

This whole thing is lovely! I love that this is how kids think and because they don't fully understand death yet as a concept they can be really brutal in how they talk about it, to hilarious effect.

I implore those MP’s on the newly formed Women & Equalities Committee to be aware of fellow member, Rosie Duffield’s, record of transphobia, and to put up guard rails to stop her weaponising her influence to hurt trans people 🙏🏻

Be alert, she will undoubtedly go to the media too!
