I ended up loving and loathing the adventure mode at the same time. It's a concept that I'd love to see revisited but ideally with some heavy tweaks to be less of chore to get through it all.

I'm not far into it but Age of Imprisonment is feeling like it might be the most newcomer friendly in that regard. The original Hyrule Warriors with DLC was an absolute beast of a game to approach.

I liked how Age of Calamity played but I found the performance to be garbage on the Switch. From what I've seen, this one seems to be much smoother but I'll just have to find out.
