It's hard to live in America and to have Empathy. My silver lining today is that I'm thankful for my lovely husband, my 2 wonderful cats and to listen to some music that makes me feel something.

i think the executive orders directing agencies to end energy efficiency regulations and open up more land to drilling and mining is so indicative of the character of the american right — in its view everything, whether people or our larger environment, is something to be exploited and dominated

I get it, studios want to leave ambiguous enough endings to movies/shows in order to potentially do a sequel/follow up season. But I just finished watching Pantheon, and the ending is much less impactful because the door is open for another season which is not needed. JUST LET SHOWS END!

I've always thought about unions like this. You're a player trying to shoot a soccer ball into a net. A lot of times companies ask you to shoot from the midline and expect you to hit the goal every time. With a union, you're a player shooting from the box with a goalie in the net.
