It’s weirdly mild in the UK. Not sure what it is in Fahrenheit but we’re seeing 10 degrees C regularly.

Our potted tree is doing its second Christmas this year. It sits on a raised surface at the moment and we’re looking forward to when it’s too tall for that and has to sit on the floor. Maybe in 2030 or even later!

I was surprised the other day by a small moth fluttering across the road towards me. Not great on identifying moths but this was one of those light ones that you see plenty of in the summer. I just hope the recent mild weather hasn’t confused it into thinking winter has passed.

“Och, he’s no bad for a Sassenach” should be more than enough praise. Adjust for pronouns, of course.

Back when Wychwood were cool. Now proper Hobgoblin is “Ruby Hobgoblin” and all the other quirky beers they did seem to have disappeared.
