It would be awful if we were all the same.
Just because something is different doesn't mean it's wrong.
Something I've been wondering about, what do we mean when we say Happy New Year?
Do we mean have a happy 31 Dec, have a happy 1 Jan, have a happy Jan, happy first quarter, or the whole year?
If it's the whole year why don't we say happy next year? As the year doesn't stay new forever. 🤷‍♀️

I've reached that point in life were you start keeping sturdy cardboard boxes things come in because hey that's a good box to keep stuff in.
I've not yet reached a cardboard box full of cardboard boxes.

I am not giving my credit card details, Government issued documents, or a picture of my face to an unknown internet tech company to prove I'm over 16 just to send a private message. I haven't been 16 for 31 years. #AgeVerification

This is how Woolworths proudly displays Tasmanian made products in their Hobart CBD store. Behind a ~1m wide pillar so people have difficulty accessing the products. Well done, Woolies, great effort. #Woolworths #Tassie

Well, that was a waste of time and effort, basically back to how it was. #politas

I came across this story from a newspaper from June 1999.
JD would be 29 now. I wonder if he's still in West Yorkshire.

Every time I hear you tell the story on MyTimeCapsule about going to France for lunch I think how different my part of the world is different to yours
Living in Tasmania it's impossible to pop to another country You can't even see mainland Aus from Tassie.

If I wasn't a State public service employee I would be making a number of critical comments on the container refund scheme that apparently starts on Thursday.
This post is probably saying too much already.🤐

All the Trump commentators who talk about him breaking long standing alliances have clearly not watched The Circle on Netflix.
If they had, they'd know alliances mean nothing.

Wouldn't it be funny if this unit finds that to improve efficiency of the public service is to employ more and/or provide better/more tools. #politest

No work today, so I can watch the whole of night 4 of the Premier League. Though I still had to get up at 6am on a day off.

Although gluten-free foods are trendy, they are a necessity only if you have celiac disease or wheat allergies.

@firstdogonthemoon.bsky.social 2025 calendar cartoon for February, or Fishbuary. Reading it now shows how little has changed in 12 months. Sigh 😕.

So, thoughts on this, #PDC #PremierLegueDarts.
Excited to see Dobey back and Aspinal being selected again.
But surprised, not surprised by the selection of Price. He was poor last year.
