I don't know what to tell higher education. You can't both be "committed to democracy and intellectual freedom" and bending to the whims of authoritarians to "preemptively avoid fall out."

At that point, you're just selling a mission you have no intention or capability of delivering on.

School play gets canceled for "inappropriate content".

In response students write [REDACTED], their own anti-censorship play skewering the school district, sells out performances, and ultimately takes gold at the Lenaea High School Theatre Festival.

@kaine.senate.gov I've appreciated some of the work I've seen from you in defense of our democracy/country, but I surely don't understand how your vote for Noem is good for US. We need you/ all Dems to step up the resistance on all fronts on our behalf! @kim.senate.gov @fetterman.senate.gov

Happy to connect with @terraziporyn.bsky.social & follow the important work of starting schools later. I recently presented @ Start Schools Later National Conference on the topic of embracing & utilizing diverse problem solving styles during the adoption & implementation phases of later start times.
The "start school later movement" is about giving teens a chance to get healthy sleep, and the benefits that come with it. That just isn't possible when the bell tolls at zero dark thirty (which it often does) #startschoollater #sleeppeeps youtu.be/kIYTL5p-vpI?... via
