My parents only recently (finally) got that we really & truly do not want to have children. My mom wanted to be grandma and would have been a great one, but now they’re both retired and have a dog AND a convertible, so they’re coping fairly well… 😂

Showing my age here, but this was also 1997 when the only popular culture celebrating big asses (among the extremely white suburban populace where I lived) was “Baby Got Back.” 🤦
I also remember none of their names or faces, but I’m hopeful that none of them will ever find or feel true love!

Did our first Viking cruise this year; accommodations were amazing but we were the youngest people by 25 yrs (we’re 40) & they do not give much time/space to explore alone. Highly scheduled & very bus-centric ashore. It was a fantastic trip but prob won’t do Viking again until we’re 65+ too lol

You should watch Predators, the doc about To Catch a Predator (if you haven’t already).
The most damning, powerful scenes are when the camera stays on the subjects as they watch and try to process the footage.
Very different from Pluribus (obvs) but a similar stillness & patience.

Got this large fluffboi a hot decade ago, before this apparent new craze, and now I think he may have been at the shelter b/c he *didn’t* meet enough “breed requirements” to be sold off for $$$ as a “real” “Nebelung” by these asshole “breeders.”
His “breed” is Giant Snugglefluff Purrmonster, duh
