30ish. Nerd and fan of a lot of things.
There is a German dude that does all kinds of brick set reviews, not just Lego.

I think most of his videos have decent subtitels for English.

I know 🥲
Got pulled out by an equally great tractor from the 1930s.

My brother and I sold the one we inherited from our dad.

Broke my heart a little bit, but the new owner lives in the area and we can visit and drive around.

My brother was the one who got me into 40k when I was 12, nearly 22 years ago. The other day we reminisced about the days when we could play a game together when ever we wanted.

We both miss something from "back in the day".

The 4th edition Space Marine Commander.

As temperatures are rising again I have finally decided to get my "summer collection" out.

@andycruns.bsky.social as you are the guy with a fabulous shirt collection: any tipps for additional shirts I should get?

I just rewatched Zardoz after more than 10 years since I watched it the last time.

Apart from Connery's outfit there is not much that lives up to the "very weird movie" image it has.

Yes it is very much a Art House movie, but it also is scifi and the story and idea behind it is interesting.

The German commentator joked about the big conveyor belt and said it will be used in Switzerlands biggest supermarket and Parg will work there as goods seperator.

Today:

- woke up with cramps in my legs.

- crashed into a door frame on my way to the kitchen.

- opened the fridge to discover that the milk is spoiled.

- looked out the window to see a granny doing aerobic going full pelt.

I must have angered some gods...

Finally a theme I can contribute something to!

The majority of my 40k minis fits into the "old" category.
Some of them even predate myself.

Have a selection of them:

It is the perfect statement.

I was wearing this in the office yesterday:

I started with it and I still think it was the best.

Update: I made it in time.

Someone in the meeting is wearing a giraffe costume. And there is a sailor and a farmer.

Luckily I was prepared.

Starting the weekend with a new design for my Star Wars weapons collection.

The "Le Matt" slugger revolver comes with a integrated blaster!
The energy cell stores enough energy for 4 powerful shots.

With the flick of a switch you can go from 6-shooter to hold out blaster.

Today I can present 2 (3) new Star Wars blasters!

The BlasTech AA52 Sniper and the CP33 Blaster.

The AA52 is based on a French vehicle machine gun.

The CP33 is based on a pistol from the company KelTec.
It comes in 2 versions. The B-version has a switch to change power settings.

Something very nice arrived at HouseGrox.

A 1996 Playmates Star Trek Starfleet Type II phaser.

Lights and sounds work after a quick repair.

A new Star Wars blaster is ready.

The BlasTech Industries IB-97
(based on the Bergmann Simplex 8mm)

I was inspired by Din Djarin's blaster which is also based on a Bergmann pistol.

Another Star Wars blaster is done!

I present the BlasTech PLR16K
Based on the PLR16 and parts of the KSG410 from KelTec.

This blaster rifle combines a compact and rugged design with easy handling. Simply pull back the leaver above the magazine well to eject the energy cell.

On Thursday my freezer/ fridge attacked me with gas from a leak in the freezer section.

I taped it as best as I could to minimize the amount of gas coming out.

Today way payback day.
My trusty ventilators and I defeated the fridge!
