Good call. My allotment is clay and over the years they tend not to overwinter there.

Ok thanks. Making the most of my last normal week before spending a month in hospital.

This'll be the first transplant, two weeks tomorrow they'll go back in after a wk of super strong chemo. It basically means all new bone marrow. 3 wks in hospital 😬 Just had 3 months of chemo after 6 months in 2024 wasn't fully successful. It's been effective, so the transplant is to make it stick 🤞

Enjoy. MrsGrow is so lost without little ones to dress and entertain at Halloween. Fun times. We don't even get trick or treaters up our Lane 😥

It's a bizarre figure. 20 years ago my salary was double that. But once child number two came along in 2010, in order to provide enough flexibility for MrsGrow to go back to work, my salary fell to £30k and hasn't moved in 15 years. No wonder our national birth rate is falling.

The poem was inspired by my sister. As a child, she would go into the garden and talk to the birds. She got in a lot of trouble for applying bird transfers onto the living room wallpaper the day after it had been put up 😂 She just came back from a bird photography prize trip to Estonia.

Yes Canada is a very long way to go, my mother thought Denham to Dorset was too far 😂 Luckily my wife was able to play chauffeur, unfortunately I couldn't go because my immunity isn't recovered from my latest chemo cycle, a real nuisance. I have the poem here and the judge's comment.

I've put a few Apricot Beauty bulbs in again and ordered more. Really loved them last year as they seemed to change colour with age and lasted weeks.
