💯!! Kids are so intuitive they know things are happening. Adults thinking kids are oblivious is simply not true and frankly insulting to them. They need digestible (factual) explanations or they’ll make up their own. 🫣

I love it so much and totally want to geek out with him but my husband made me promise no new activities or deep dives after 9 because…well…then it’s midnight before we look at the clock again. 😂😬🤷🏻‍♀️

There has to be a reason to hope and realistic ways to take action that they can digest. I don’t think there is an alternative when you’re trying to explain these things to kids! Hope it helps your family’s convos and thank you for talking to your kids. They deserve to know. ❤️❤️

Doing it with little support is SO hard. We also had very little. My hubs quit his job to stay home with them when I went back after maternity leave so one of us was always there. We did 6-8 hour shifts “on” and then would swap - did that around the clock for a lot of the first year. Hang in there!

Mine are 6 (almost 7). That first year was brutal - I basically don’t remember it at all 😂. Hang in there Mama! It gets easier!
