I'm sure you know a lot of people leaving the industry, but total employment is still way above 2020. Also, the products coming out of the industry are incredible. Layoffs make headlines but hiring sprees don't.

I also think that the professionalization of youth sports makes them more appealing in some ways, than a service organization. People complain about the costs but like not having to run it themselves

I agree with the Scott Galloway that the dangers to your physical health from alcohol are less than the benefits to your mental health, when you are young.

I really liked Jumpspeak. The LLM based apps like Pingo AI or LanguaTalk are also fantastic but pricey. You can also get a pretty good tutor out of ChatGPT with some prompts. There are lots of YouTube videos about doing this.
