I dunno. Our garden zone is 3a-4b. The elevation (Rocky Mountain proximity) makes it challenging. I'm at 1200m. I think I just lucked out with a micro-climate corner and one hardy plant! However, it might be nice to have more. 🤔

I'll see mine in May. sigh Well I'm lucky I even got one to grow here. It's aptly called 'Ice N Roses White'. ❄️ I still have pics from when I brought it home Feb 2023. It has overwintered twice.

🧐 Named after Thomas Blakiston. Blakiston went to "the Orient" after the Palliser Expedition in Canada 1857-1860. There is a creek, mountain, waterfall, valley, etc. named after him in Waterton National Park. What an interesting owl!
