Agreed! While thankful for Glaser & Strauss in 1967 developing GT as a counter to the quantitative emphasis, there have been such issues with original Grounded Theory and its quasi positivist assumptions 'to make it palatable'. Thank goodness for Constructivist GT and Charmaz
