Sometimes i just sit back and think about the novels that my dad got me into as a kid and Raymond E. Feist was probably the one he wanted me most to get into.
His Riftwar Saga is in my mind incredible and a really cool fusion of fantasy and sci fi tropes

Finally have been staring to get into Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden series. The first one is a bit rough but the worldbuilding is amazing.
