We are grateful to the Professor H.G. Schermers Fund that we are able to continue Leiden’s long tradition of teaching and research on the Law of International Organisations and we are delighted that Dr. Bordin will inspire future generations of students.

Dr. Bordin has published widely on various topics covered by the Chair. His monograph, entitled The Analogy between States and International Organizations, published by Cambridge University Press, received the 2020 ASIL Certificate of Merit in a Specialized Area of International Law.

We look forward to how the delegation will apply these practices back home, contributing to the continued enhancement of judicial efficiency and innovation in the Philippines!

During the two-week programme, the delegation explored best practices from Dutch courts and international courts and tribunals. Sessions covered topics such as courtroom technology, the role of AI in court management, simplifying judicial processes, and tools for effective case management.
