we found that nuclear envelope rupture triggers rapid DIAPH3 formin influx to generate a actin mesh to prevent further chromatin leakage from damaged nuclei. thanks to Pitter Huesgen @degradomics.bsky.social and @cibss.bsky.social, @chrkam.bsky.social

from our 'older' paper Baarlink et al. 2017, live imaging of a dividing mouse fibroblast stably expressing a shuttling chromobody detecting actin - showing nuclear actin filaments during postmitotic nuclear expansion and chromatin decompaction as well as simultaneous membrane dynamics

won't get tired of looking at these...in case you missed it...nuclear actin assemblies with DAAM2 at ligand-stimulated androgen receptors (biomolecular condensates?)
