I've spent about... 900 hours so far this year attending in-person courses on emergency management, volunteering with the City of Portland, OR, and going on unpaid deployments perform wildland fire prevention/mitigation work and disaster cleanup in California.
That's about 22.5 weeks at a 9-5.
