No, it wasn’t. A father of two children was shot in the neck. It’s never okay to celebrate that. And I f he was as bad as you believe (which is questionable), then why is it okay to be as awful as him?

The trans, DC writer posted some vile shit, which she had every right to do. No one in the government tried to stop her. But DC has ever right to fire her for reflecting badly on their company. Would you be upset if some racist posted vile shit online then lost his job?

It's beyond an awful idea. Narrators for audiobooks are as important as the author. Perhaps more so as even a great book can be ruined in it's audiobook format by a bad narrator. I suspect Audible will figure this out when no one is buying AI read books.

Counterpoint: Barbie is an original story, but it's adapted from a long existing IP. Toys, books, dozens of animated movies and TV shows. There's really no way - despite the originality of the use of the IP - that it could be considered anything other than an adapted screenplay.

I can totally see that. I think "The Exorcist" is the better movie, but "The Omen" is the one that's more fun to re-watch.
