Sure, my point is more in retrospect. Would lack of image training solve that problem?

Help me if I'm wrong: you could choose to "shut it off" by not training with it to begin with, right?

I know we're past that point.

One of my top/favorite products!

So, question the folks out there building/running their own businesses: when did it feel real to you? When could you say without doubt? With 100% conviction? Without any qualification?

Interested to hear everyone's stories.

Looks like Escher!

Totally understood the point of the response.

I thought we were better off using that chaos to illustrate our pitch forward from there. But, hey, I didn't get my way. Shit happens!

Interesting point. Big fan of @asmartbear.com.

In our industry, reminded me of a draft slide I once built showing interactions between players in reinsurance market. Was chaos.

CEO said "this sucks too messy" and I said "this is exactly what happens"

Awesome thread. Thank you for posting.

Follower of several folks from NYT graphics dept and think they consistently crush. For quite a while now.

I have an M1 MBP. Very intrigued by the M4 Mini. Also the new M4 Air

I don't see anyone in our spaces discussing:
1. Re/insurance portfolio mgmt. techniques
2. Navigating emotional/mental ups/downs
3. Assessing burn out, motivation, etc.
4. Reducing rumination, boosting experimentation, trying new things in one's career
5. Balancing life/career.

Am I just not aware?

Enormous supporter of canned!

And yes I know it looks kind of funky. Sometimes smells kind of funky. But it is easy for a weekday lunch salad or dinner protein addition.

There will likely be pre-emptive evacuation warnings/orders in/near recent SoCal burn areas (from Sep & Jan) due to high likelihood of intense downpours capable of producing *significant* debris flows. Debris flows can form very quickly, so it's wise to take these seriously.#CAwx

Talks about fire fatalities. Certainly worth talking about.

I'm more interested front-collision safety. How big is the blind spot in front of the car? How does that impact reaction timing and accident likelihood?

Comparison point: full-size SUVs with huge tall front areas/hoods and blind spots.

Tough that you have to drive. Not all commutes are equal though (even if they're identical in time).

Train commutes: long, yes, but can read, work, talk. It is a privilege.

But does RTO help you feel like part of the team? Here was my take today: open.substack.com/pub/theteard...
Does RTO Help You Feel Like You Belong?
In-office work boosts relationships and productivity. What happens if you don't have that option? It might not matter.

How do you answer this sort of question? You have a palette of 3-5 core marketable competencies.

Where do you feel you are strongest and weakest even if you do them all to some degree?

So, I sometimes corner myself with the choices provided by the question.

But I think it's really execution instead. Blending engineering, analytics, and strategy to get something done. That's execution.

And not sinking too deeply into one discipline's rabbit holes.

I'm up for it!

If I understand correctly: project re: some sort of integration and instead you think their could be a software solution for it?

Love it. Always make an excuse to get outside!

Adjacent topic and interesting to hear. I am going to build a very simple web page in Notion and then tie my domain to that. I don't think I need more than that for now.

But I do want a robust and tight integration between Hubspot and ... what do people recommend?
