The *goal* of my flight today was to fly from Maniwaki, QC to Chibougamou. It's a pretty long way, but more importantly, it's at the end of a long road into the middle of the bush.
And along the way is Val-d'Or. Looks like a pretty nice place!
However, I had to land at Lebel-Sur-Quevillon for WX.

Today's flight lesson was the importance of refusing an aircraft that didn't pass pre-flight inspection. Even if its "just one screw missing".
Also, I got a selfie that illustrated why being tall is no advantage as a pilot.

One of those rare instances where I had lots of time for pictures on final approach. It was a 6 mile final! The sim is unrealistically low in air traffic I find.

Today's flight: hauling 288 lbs of beer from Yakima to Naval Air Station Whidbey.
Landing was a little rough. No damage to the aircraft or anything like *that* but some beer was spilled, and that's just not acceptable!

For my first flight in at least a month, I went from Bremerton National (KPWT) to CYVR, which everyone knows. The weather was a little dodgy but still VFR, so I was too busy for many screenshots. This is me after crossing the border, around Boundary Bay.
