I haven’t run into that, but if I do I’ll file a bug. I know the developer, he’d be happy to fix it. If you want to report it I know he’d appreciate any feedback.

It uses SQLite to index and search, I don’t have a ton of data but I haven’t had any performance problems. Have you?

The author of this article indicates a lack of understanding about why bitcoin / cryptocurrencies have intrinsic value. The value introduced by bitcoin is the public, immutable system of record. The value is not in the coins, it is in the record of exchange. The blockchain IS valuable on its own.
