at our place in florida, we’ve got a heron that likes to camp out on the roof and scare you whenever you walk out the front door and an egret that likes to hunt in the canal! 🥹

ahhh there are so many i love, but i’d say my favorites are grebes (particularly small ones like the pied-billed) and the roseate spoonbill is a personal fave, along with herons and egrets 🥰
