Here in France they are much more up-front about it. They ring the doorbell - "to give you their free-of-charge calendar for next year" - a crappy little thing costing a few cents to produce. You, overjoyed, are then expected to bung them EUR 20 or so. (And I do!! They deserve it!)

It's superb. And no worries that "it's black and white" means.... pretentious! (Which *can* occasionally be true! :-) ) No no no. It's perfect. It's stunning. I loved it.

I went LibDem as tactical to boot the Tory (and it worked!) My heart was Labour. Next time? Labour can get stuffed. LibDem all the way. I trust them. I do not trust Labour at all now...

It's Star Wars for adults.... in the darkest sense. Superbly made - but grim grim grim. Hoping some younger folk do watch and enjoy and learn from it. "This is how it happens..."

Should also have a good grasp of hyperbolic sin too then! (Which would apply to many of mine.... I do try and make them seem more sinful than they really were..... alas)
