I take the train tonight
To see my mom's delight
At what my bag might bear,
A gift I aft prepared:
I offer a happy sight,
A vase attained with care;
A toadish shape it wears,
A critter of no ill plight.
Now off the train I fare
To step anew down there,
To youth again alight
Upon the summer night.
