I don't know anyone who has ever thrown drugs away because they might be expired. I know folks who would take ancient antibiotics, crumbling to dust, and just hope and pray that they might have some amount of efficacy because they couldn't afford either the doctor's visit or prescription costs.

30+ years in HR. Did the research. You should get the SS benefits you paid into. I wouldn't have a problem with you getting SS for your teaching years if the money was coming from somewhere other than the trust fund. Did you have FICA withheld on your teacher pay stub? If not, I'm funding you now.
