we have people like you, with conviction and courage, on our side.

It kind of gives me a feeling that maybe an opposition can still form.. I had been losing hope on that front. We desperately need courage from those kinds of people, but we need courage ourselves to both influence them or in the worst case stand up ourselves if they refuse.

Either way, I'm glad

as well as themselves, straight to the wolves.

You are absolutely right that courage is what we need most. I just wish we were seeing more of it from those that have more resources to do something with.

The TX House Dems give me some hope, and talk of retaliatory redraws as well.

Shameful on their part. I notice a lot of the people caving are those at the top. Those with the most influence and therefore more resources to fight with. Are they really that afraid of losing that, or are they hoping caving brings them more? Either way, they're throwing the rest of us,

Watching these videos really makes me want to stomp on somebody's face.

I remember when you posted this. It's actually the one thing on here I have pinned. I'm sorry to hear what it cost you.

I hope we have a chance to fix it. 💙 🐾

such an atrocious approval rating despite the growing unpopularity of the regime.

Someone needs to publicly show people there's a path to a better future, but all we are getting is silence or disarray.

We can spread the word, but the people need someone to rally around, imo.

This is part of what an organized opposition should be doing, letting people know who is going to get them a better life.

They should be assigning people to different tasks to make this happen. Officials projecting disorder and inaction won't do this, and I think it's the reason that the Dems have

This is exactly what I explain to everybody who says that. I have several examples, like this man.
If anyone deserves leeway, it's someone who has literally been shot serving the US.
Only trouble he's been in is drug use and failing to show up for court because of untreated PTSD.
Shameful..
Purple Heart Army veteran self-deports after nearly 50 years in the U.S.
Sae Joon Park left for South Korea on Monday. His removal order was the result of drug possession and bail jumping charges from over 15 years ago — offenses that, he said, stemmed from untreated PTSD.

wasn't deported, there
isn't any chance for peace here for the foreseeable future.

That's a good point, but I think the option to restore any asylum/residency status or progress toward them should remain open. For the future.

I have said similar things about Kilmar Abrego. I kind of hoped a third party country offered a place for his family. Even if he wasn't

And they still aren't where they should be. Regardless of their residency status, they were indeed unlawfully seized. They should, at the very least, be given a chance to please their cases, and be given a chance to restore any asylum or residency processes.

Further, consequences for tyrants.

I think we can afford a tiny bit of celebration. We can at least stop speculating over their welfare and monitor/help them more now that they can be contacted.

But I absolutely agree that we can't let the government off the hook. These guys still aren't where they ought to be, and there's a reason.

Can somebody please tell Ellison that the cartoon villain look doesn't suit him?

Second Columbo meme I've seen this week. Keep them coming, that character's one of my favorites. 😺

As long as the parasites are dead, I suppose. We'll have to cook this meal thoroughly.

It's hard to find a good vet that specializes in big cats. Not to mention the terrible state of health insurance these days...

I'll just need to be careful. I wouldn't want to end up like a certain infamous striped cousin of mine...

Me too, but I do have a lot of concerns over whether that particular dish will make me ill.

Looks delicious, but you know, parasites and all that.
