Even with all of that aside Hegseth is so unqualified to be Sec Def. He was a major in the National Guard. That in no way qualifies him to lead the Department of Defense. My husband is a retired active duty Army colonel. We served for 30 years. Being morally bankrupt is just another reason.

I think about the hell he created for Ruby Freeman and her daughter, two innocent women. He ruined their lives. I’m having trouble mustering much sympathy for him. Lies and misinformation has consequences.
