Hopefully, after seeing how close the Tennessee special election was in deeply red districts, the Texas gerrymandering will prove useless. I have to hold onto that hope.

The reason: Mississippi passed a law (the Walker Montgomery Protecting Children Online Act) requiring all social‑media platforms to verify the age of every user, which Bluesky said it lacked the resources and infrastructure to comply with.

The only solace I get from these results is that if she came this close in a special election, in a red state, imagine what can be done in the midterms. Hope…..is alive.
