In my opinion, that depends on what they do.
For example, if they sell products, like books, it should pay tax on that.
Basically, states should crack down on people and religious organisations trying to avoid taxes by slapping a god/gods sticker on something.

Not really, that can be automated. In Belgrade, they bought some sistem that they put on the roof of cars. They drive around, and it writes up fines automatically. I think they use the same system in Prague and some other cities.

I have nothing against cars but things have gone out of hand world wide with them.
To make a comparison you had cities in the 19th century when horses were a means of transport, but not everyone and their mother had a personal horse and carriage.
