So I put this up on x/Twitter and I thought I’d ask my Bluesky friends too. I’m 40. Just quit cigarettes almost two months ago and suddenly I find myself overwhelmed by my libido. Like a horny teenager again. This happen to anyone else? I quit cold turkey as a clarifier.

Do you know why you hold that hatred in your heart? Why you act the way you do or have the reaction to things you do? How often do you actually examine yourself? Your own character? It’s not easy. It’s not pleasant. But it will make you better.

Life is simple. I treat others how I want to be treated until they show me how they want to be treated. I give three chances for the most part, anybody can have a bad day and it can even bleed over. But after 3 interactions, it becomes pretty clear.

So I’m writing a story that begins simply. A man in the shower is interrupted by his female best friend. It’s a situation he has dreamed of, despite her obvious lack of sexual feelings for him. Then she reveals that she needs his help. Because she accidentally killed her date. With a vibrator.
