Had dinner in #Asuncion at this incredible #buffet last night. 20 amazing entree items, a decent salad section and every 10 minutes or so they would bring meat just finished to be freshly cut tableside.

My son has #autism and while he is sweet to me, it's very hard for him to connect with others. After many outings, today he allowed our friend Monica to help him. After this breakthrough he cuddled with her, "chinning", eye contact and all!

This could be my favorite marketing tactic... and I hold an MBA and have spent my entire adult life in marketing...

This day through the years. We are so blessed to live in this time...we are so grateful for travel and freedom. As a single mom I know that so much of our lifestyle wasn't available to my mother or all the women before here. Thank you #feminism for making this possible!

Like a lot of kids, Sam is a picky eater. We've been in South America for almost 4 years and this is the *first time* he has nibbled on an empanada. One day I can stop stockpiling chicken nuggets, lol.
This happened to be a meat and egg breakfast empanada. SO yummy!
